"Oh man, I'm beat!" Roscoe flopped down in his foldable lawn chair, letting out a relieved sigh. His muscles ached, but it was the good kind of ache, like after a hard workout that made you feel a bit light-headed and dopey. His boyfriend, Nate, had already been sitting down in the chair next to him, fanning himself off underneath his straw hat to try and relieve himself from the heat. "Me too. It's really hot..." The curly-haired man complained quietly as he stared off into the distance. "Did we have to change out all of the bedding today?" Roscoe smiled at him, but Nate just looked drained. "Awe, tired babe? Yeah, unfortunately you know it was well overdue for a cleaning. I would've done it sooner, but we've been busy all week. Had to get it out of the way today. As the evening turned to night, the crowd of people gathered at the festivities began to dwindle as people headed home after a long day of festivities. A cold autumn breeze rushed through the clearing, chilling anyone that didn't bring a coat. It would seem that the night was almost over. But there was still a good number of people hanging on, though. Probably wanted to at least see the fireworks before they turned in for the day. He took a thoughtful bite out of the red meat shank in front of him, savouring the taste. Solomon had never seen fireworks before, but he assumed that his trainers wouldn't leave before then, so he still had time to enjoy the night.
